Description
A long time proven performer, the PPG range of helical dog gearsets offer the ability to shift as quick as you can move your arm when racing and smooth operation when cruising with minimal noise. Commonly used on street and race cars.
No longer will you drive hard wondering if your next shift into 3rd gear will result in an expensive tow home.
PPG has also addressed the other main weakness in the factory box by giving you the option (highly recommended) to upgrade the weak factory cast selector forks to their much stronger billet units.
For AWD applications over 900hp it is also highly recommended to upgrade to the PPG Billet Sandwich Plate and Billet Main shaft. These components reduce flex and greatly assist in controlling tolerances of the gearbox better to help prevent premature gear failure.
PLEASE NOTE: All PPG Gearsets are supplied with a large 26 spline input shaft, which require a suitable clutch hub / plate assembly.
